Whitney Leavitt and Mayci Neeley, stars of Hulu’s new reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, have revealed the impressive earnings they and other “Trad Wives” in the #MomTok community make through social media partnerships and brand deals. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Whitney explained that the income from these deals can fluctuate significantly. For instance, she once secured a $20,000 deal to promote a sex toy, while in another year, the opportunities were not as lucrative.

Mayci added that both she and Whitney have landed deals worth up to $75,000 in a single year, although they couldn’t disclose specific details about these partnerships. The earnings among their group of Mormon influencers vary based on individual niches such as fitness, beauty, or parenting, with certain industries offering higher pay. Whitney highlighted that this variation is influenced by personal branding and market demand for specific content.

Despite a sex scandal that rocked the #MomTok community two years ago, involving allegations of extramarital affairs among its members, the controversy did not significantly affect their income. Whitney admitted that the scandal actually boosted their publicity, while Mayci noted that although their reputations took a hit, their earnings remained largely unaffected. Some vendors initially hesitated to participate in her business launch event due to concerns about the swinging scandal, but the situation was eventually resolved.

Both Whitney and Mayci have denied any involvement in the scandal, helping them avoid negative repercussions that could have impacted their careers. Instead, they capitalized on the increased attention to enhance their social media presence and continue building their brands as prominent Mormon influencers.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres on Hulu on September 6, offering viewers a closer look at the lives of these influential women. The show also features other well-known #MomTok stars, such as Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, and Mikayla Matthews, who have large followings on TikTok and Instagram. The series promises to delve into the complexities of their lives as social media influencers within the Mormon community.
