Netflix’s latest reality competition series, The Influencer, is set to captivate audiences with its innovative concept featuring some of South Korea’s most prominent online personalities. Co-directed and produced by Lee Jae-seok and Son Soo-jeong, the show promises to offer a thrilling experience for fans of digital content creators.

The series introduces a competitive format where 77 influencers will vie for the title of “the best influencer.” These participants collectively command an impressive 120 million followers across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and AfreecaTV. From seasoned creators who have shaped the digital landscape for years to Gen Z stars with burgeoning global fanbases, The Influencer will showcase a diverse array of talent.

Among the initial seven influencers revealed are:

– Xiajiu (TikTok) – with 27.5 million followers.
– Jang Geun-seok (Instagram) – boasting 645K followers.
– Risabae (Instagram/YouTube) – followed by 883K on Instagram and 2.23 million subscribers on YouTube.
– Pani Bottle (Instagram/YouTube) – having 296.5K followers on Instagram and 2.27 million subscribers on YouTube.
– Jin Yong-jin (Instagram/YouTube) – followed by 15.6K on Instagram and 2.68 million subscribers on YouTube.
– Shim Euddeum (Instagram/YouTube) – with 787K followers on Instagram and 1.69 million subscribers on YouTube.
– Daedo Library.

Lee Jae-seok, the series producer, expressed his vision for The Influencer, emphasizing the unique entertainment experience it aims to deliver.
